We think wine is something worth learning about, so we set out to be the right place for those who want to learn and explore – without scaring away those who simply want something good to drink with their dinner.
At Frankly Wines, we try to balance wine-geek-speak with a sense of fun. We don’t dumb things down, but we also don’t try to surround wine with an aura of snobbery. We offer our version of the well-stocked wine closet: daily essentials, quirky finds, and higher end treasures, as well as a rotating selection of 3-Packs and Wine Clubs.
We firmly believe the best way to learn about wine is to just drink it…so pick out a bottle of something and start learning!
About the Owner
Prior to opening this little shop (and it is tiny), Christy Frank spent about 7 years working at Moët Hennessy USA, the wine and spirits division of LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton.
Her last three years there were spent managing the US business for the company’s Australia/New Zealand portfolio, which among the winery visits and Power Point presentations, also involved traveling across the country to visit more wine stores than she cared to count.
Last year, she finally succumbed to the retail bug, opened Frankly Wines and settled into life behind the counter. She is eagerly awaiting the day when her three children are old enough to reach the cash register and be put to work.
